National outlook – May to July 2024

The official national outlook was released by the Bureau of Meteorology on 2 May 2024.

  • The rainfall outlook for May to July is a 60 to 80% chance of below median rainfall for most of southern Australia.
  • Maximum and minimum temperatures for May to July have a likely to very likely chance (80%) of being warmer than average for most of Australia
