Plant Growth Index (PGI)

Plant Growth Index values remain stable, improving in the Central West, North Coast and Western LLS regions.

  • Many areas have seen a good pasture growth response to rainfall throughout April.
  • Many areas in NSW remain in a strong production position with good early season crop growth.
  • Some areas would be experiencing late season pasture response to rainfall due to warm temperatures.
