Grants available for horticulture to keep nutrients on-farm

The booming horticulture industry on the State’s North Coast is set to be further boosted by a NSW Government program to make operations more productive, profitable and environmentally sustainable, Minister for Agriculture Adam Marshall announced today.

Profitability in the NSW dairy industry has rebounded in the past financial year following years of drought according to the Dairy Farm Monitor Project run by NSW Department of Primary Industries.

Producers across NSW are on the lookout for fall armyworm, following confirmation of the pest at Hillston, Croppa Creek, Breeza, Forbes, Dubbo, Narrabri, Wee Waa, Maitland, Moree and Boggabilla.
