DPIRD Hunting is committed to ensuring the safety of hunters and that safe and responsible hunting practices are carried out across NSW.
We work closely with all key hunting stakeholders within the state, including NSW Police, the Forestry Corporation, local communities, hunters and landowners to implement these safe practices and provide safety awareness and education.
Strict licensing requirements and conditions, enforcement of hunting regulations and compliance measures and risk assessments also ensure safe hunting practices occur across NSW.
