Our May webinar focused on nutrient management in macadamias and how to account for nut removal during harvest in your nutrient budget.

Presenter Kevin Quinlan has worked in the macadamia industry for over fifteen years, initially with NSW Agriculture and now as the Supply Chain Manager with Marquis Macadamias (formerly MPC, the Macadamia Processing Company).

Kevin’s presentation discussed how to calculate nutrient removal in macadamia crops, and the drivers of nutrient usage during the production season.

His presentation also covered nutrient budgeting in the wider orchard management system - not just delivering nutrients but how to integrate other aspects of tree health into a nutrition program
