Summer cropping options for northern and central NSW

Summary

In response to an excessively wet winter that has prevented many growers from sowing their full winter program, NSW DPI has produced a guide on summer cropping options for northern and central NSW for 2022. This guide aims to provide growers and advisors with a snapshot on summer cropping fundamentals by crop type, along with some basic agronomic tips to grow a successful summer crop.

Crops covered include:

• Sorghum
• Maize
• Mungbean
• Soybean
• Sunflower
