Sheep Health Statement

The National Sheep Health Statement is an important tool for assessing the health status and management history of a mob of sheep. A revised National Sheep Health Statement (Version 3) has been released to support the new National OJD Management program which began on 1 July 2013.

The National Sheep Health Statement will be voluntary from 1 July 2013 for movements of sheep within NSW.

Sheep entering NSW must still be accompanied by a National Sheep Health Statement as it is mandatory as a vendor declaration for footrot.

Producers are strongly encouraged to request and review the information on a National Sheep Health Statement for any sheep they are considering purchasing or agisting.
