Stage 3 rehabilitation works at Tomago Wetlands Hunter River Estuary Water Research Laboratory, University of NSW Newcastle Hunter River Estuary Tidal flushing will be restored to 62.5 ha wetland including a 3.2 km long tidal channel by modifying floodgates and carrying out earthworks to restore tidal channels. The rehabilitated wetland will provide valuable habitat
for a range of fish species and improve recreational fishing in the Hunter Estuary.
Lane Cove River Australian Bass habitat project Friends of Lane Cove National Park North Ryde, Sydney Lane Cove Improve Australian bass habitat in the Lane Cove River by engaging recreational fishers and community volunteers to reduce the impact of weeds (2.3 km) and restore riparian vegetation (0.5 km) $10000
Banks for Bass Southern Rivers Catchment Management Authority on behalf of private landholders Wollongong Macquarie Rivulet, Lake Illawarra Stream stabilisation works (1 km) on the south east bank of Macquarie Rivulet at the confluence of Marshal Mount Creek. The works will include stream structures to reduce flow, fencing to restrict cattle access and tree planting to assist stabilisation.  $22751

Belmore Wetland habitat for fingerlings Private landholder Gladstone, Kempsey Killick Beach estuary, Macleay Catchment Improve a 43 Ha SEPP 14 wetland that is connected to 2 creeklines which run to Killick Beach estuary through stock management fencing, reducing weeds. Protect this freshwater creek and estuary zone from the risk of acid sulfate soils. $5152
Tambourine Bay wetlands Stage 2 - enhancement of fish habitat by the rehabilitation of saltmarsh and mangrove communities Lane Cove Council Lane Cove, Sydney Tambourine Bay, Lane Cove Stage 2 of works in a 2.5 ha wetland:
Rehabilitate mangroves & endangered saltmarsh vegetation, Plant  indigenous seedlings in buffer zones to protect saltmarsh and wetland areas, Promote the importance of fish habitat in Tambourine Bay through environmental education and community involvement.
Brogo River fish habitat enhancement Southern Rivers Catchment Management Authority on behalf of private landholders Bega Brogo River Enhance fish habitat on the Brogo River. Works will include bank erosion control using large woody debris, sand sheet stabilisation, willow choke removal, riparian and wetland fencing and revegetation and dairy laneway relocation. $40000
Ramp it up - anglers restoring fish habitat at ramps and key fishing areas Eurobodalla Shire Council Moruya Various sites including Durras Lake, Corrigans Beach, Moruya River, Potato Point, Wagonga Inlet, Mystery Bay. Engage fishers and other community volunteers to restore degraded areas of fish habitat in the areas they use most. Project works will include revegetation, weed removal and erosion control at sites within 500m of boat ramps throughout the Eurobodalla. $25000

Addressing the last major fish passage barrier on Bowman River Hunter Central Rivers Catchment Management Authority Gloucester Bowman River, Manning River Catchment A full-width rock-ramp fishway will be installed and the last remaining high priority barrier to fish passage on Bowman River removed. The fishway will aid migration for fish like Australian bass, reinstate access to 10km of waterway and improve fish stocks. $40000

Queanbeyan River restoration - restoring native fish habitat in the Queanbeyan River Capital Region Fishing Alliance Inc Queanbeyan Queanbeyan River, Murrumbidgee River Catchment Improve native fish habitat through resnagging and rehabilitation of the riparian zone on the Queanbeyan River. The project connects with and extends on the recently completed Queanbeyan Traditional Owner River Restoration Project (upstream of this project site). $21950
