Clean waterways with healthy fish populations are good news for boat enthusiasts and recreational fishers alike.
A fish-friendly marina provides a range of services to their boating and fishing customers in ways that minimise impacts on fish and fish habitat.
Being fish-friendly means that you might see some things done slightly differently from other marinas. Small changes can make a big difference to the health and wellbeing of local fish and fish habitat.
This project is a joint initiative of the Marina Industries Association of Australia and Fisheries NSW, and acknowledges the contribution of the Environmental Protection Authority's 'Business Partners and Education' program.
