| Description | Leaf: medium small, red, unfolded, pubescent. Shape: ovate with attenuate tip and truncate base. Margin: neatly and finely serrated. Stipules: small elliptical. Shoot: dark reddish, straight. |
| Vigour | Semi-dwarfing, similar to MM.106. |
| Propagation | Readily from stools and hardwood cuttings. |
| Resistance | Moderate resistance to collar rot (Phytophthora cactorum). Moderate resistance to fireblight (Erwinia amylovora). Susceptible to woolly aphid (Eriosoma lanigerum). Rarely susceptible to burr knots. |
| Uses | Precocious, hardy, well anchored. Not tested in Australia. |
