Melons
Melons are grown in most states and territories in Australia, but predominantly in the Riverina and Sunraysia areas of NSW.
The Department's role is to provide support to the horticultural industry through the provision of extension officers, research scientists, diagnostic laboratories, publications, horticultural courses and regulatory services.
