Take a tour of the CCC Blueberry Research facility

_

Click on the YouTube link above and take a virtual tour of the Clean Coastal Catchments (CCC) Blueberry Research Facility at the Wollongbar Primary Industries Institute with Technical Officer, Diana Unsworth.

Diana will show you around our state of the art research facility while providing insights into our experiments in cutting expensive fertiliser waste for farmers, and preventing excess nutrients from ending up in coastal waterways.

Our research team is finding new ways to safely recycle nutrients and run off water which will save farmers money and also help the environment. Less fertiliser waste means less harmful nitrous oxide greenhouse gas emissions and less nutrient pollution in marine estate creeks, rivers, and estuaries.

CCC research is funded by the NSW Government through the NSW Marine Estate Management Strategy.

The Blueberry Research Facility video was initially filmed as a resource to support NSW year 11 students studying Primary Industries as part of their HSC pathway.

The Primary Industries video series was produced by the NSW Department of Education in collaboration with NSW Department of Primary Industries Research Services – North Coast.
