BARIMP - Importation of Barramundi (Lates calcarifer)
- For the purposes of section 216 of the Fisheries Management Act 1994, the permit holder is authorised to place into the area(s) authorised by this permit Barramundi (Lates calcarifer) that has been imported under the provisions specified in the Protocol for Health Certification of Barramundi Fingerlings for Aquaculture, prior to entry into NSW (refer to www.dpi.nsw.gov.au/fishing/aquaculture/publications/general/aquaculture-permit-protocols).
- The permit holder is not authorised to import from interstate Barramundi (Lates calcarifer) unless in accordance with an approved section 217 import permit.
