Specific Condition - Class E Permit

CLASSE - Class E Permit

  1. The permit holder may only stock ponds with progeny produced from endemic broodstock.
  2. The permit holder must ensure that no more than 100 yabby traps are used at any one time to undertake collection activities.
  3. The permit holder must ensure that all yabby traps used under the authority of the permit do not exceed 1 metre in length, 0.6 metre in width and 0.3 metre in depth; are constructed of netting or mesh (not being rigid mesh, such as metal or hard plastic) not less than 13 mm along the longest diagonal; have entrance funnel or funnels containing a rigid ring with a maximum internal diameter of 90 mm permanently affixed at some point along the funnel or funnels; and a non-removable plastic tag, marked legibly with the permit number, must be attached to each trap.
  4. The permit holder must ensure that supplementary feed is not added to any waters in the area within which the holder is authorised to undertake aquaculture.
  5. The permit holder must ensure that no berried females or soft shelled yabbies are taken from the area within which the holder is authorised to undertake aquaculture.
