Farm subdivision assessment guideline


Subdivision is the dividing of an allotment of land to create one or more additional allotments.

A dwelling entitlement may or may not accompany subdivision.

The creation of additional dwelling entitlements and resultant land use changes can adversely affect primary industry operations and future development.

This Primefact sets out the relevant agricultural issues and planning principles to consider when assessing proposals to subdivide rural lands within Primary Production or Rural zones.
