NSW Game Hunting Licence holders who have updated their licence to participate in the Native Game Bird Management Program are subject to special licence conditions. The native game bird conditions are attached to a letter that confirms the licence holder's eligibility to hunt native game birds under the program.
Your NSW Game Hunting Licence is now subject to the following additional conditions, specific to the hunting of native game birds:
The holder of a NSW Game Hunting Licence must not hunt native game birds listed in Schedule 3 to the Game and Feral Animal Control Act 2002 unless a sufficient quota of a specified number and type of native game bird remains in place on a property covered by a Native Game Bird Management Licence.

The holder of a NSW Game Hunting Licence must not hunt on any land without the express authority of the occupier of the land and must comply with any reasonable direction given to the person by the landholder in relation to the killing of native game birds on that land.

The holder of a NSW Game Hunting Licence may hunt native game birds at night, but only in the immediate vicinity of a planted crop and where lighting of sufficient brightness is used to enable the person to clearly see and identify the target species.

The holder of a NSW Game Hunting Licence (the hunter) who proposes to kill native game birds on the properties of Native Game Bird Management Licence holders (landholders) must:
