Several regions experienced frost events during August.
Significant weather events
- A significant weather system caused high rainfall totals for parts of northeast coastal NSW during August.
- There have been periods of high wind in many parts of NSW during August.
- Public reports are that there has been an increase in calls to the State Emergency Services to deal with localised damage. DPIRD has received informal reports of minor infrastructure damage on farms, particularly in Southern and Central NSW.
