National outlook – November to January
- The official national outlook was released by the Bureau of Meteorology on 5 December 2024.
- The rainfall outlook for January to March is likely to be above median (60 – 70%) for parts of eastern coastal regions, and in the west and north of Australia.
- Maximum and minimum temperatures for January to March have an increased chance (50% to greater than 75%) of being higher than average for most of Australia when compared to the historical record (1981 – 2018).
