National outlook – April to June 2025
- The official national outlook was released by the Bureau of Meteorology on 3 April 2025.
- The rainfall outlook for April to June is likely to be above median for much of northern Australia, when compared to the historical record (1981 – 2018). Below median rainfall is likely for parts of southern and western Australia.
- Outlooks based on the Bureau of Meteorology numerical model have moderate to high (50% to above 75%) accuracy for the forecast period.
- The maximum temperatures for April to June are likely to be above median across most of Australia. Temperatures are likely to be below media in northern regions of the Northern Territory and the Queensland Gulf Country.
- Minimum temperatures are likely to be above median across most of Australia. Outlooks based on the Bureau of Meteorology numerical model have moderate to high (50% to above 75%) accuracy for the forecast period for most of Australia when compared to the historical record (1981 – 2018).
