Plant Growth Index (PGI)

Plant Growth Index values continue to improve across much of NSW.

  • Many areas have seen little pasture growth response to June rainfall events. Colder conditions will be a contributing factor to slower growth rates.
  • Parts of eastern Riverina and Murray LLS have seen a rapid decline in the PGI. DPIRD is watching these areas closely.
