This figure shows the monthly equatorial sub-surface sea temperature anomalies (to 20 October 2024) from sea level to 1000m in depth.
The grey areas in the figure represent land masses, while the three coloured sections show the sub-surface sea temperature anomalies in the equatorial Indian (left), Pacific (middle), and Atlantic Ocean (right).
