National outlook – February to April

• The official national outlook was released by the Bureau of Meteorology on 30 January 2025.
• The rainfall outlook for February to April is likely to be above median (60 – above 80%) for across northern and southern Australia, when compared to the historical record (1981 – 2018). There is an above 80% chance of above median rainfall in parts of northern and central Queensland and the northern Western Australia coastline.
• Maximum temperatures for February to April are likely (60 to above 8-% chance) to be above median across southern Australia and parts of the northern Australian coastline. Minimum temperatures are likely (above 80% chance) to be above median across Australia.
